A medium-sized mountain resort at an altitude of 1,350 m, Super Besse is the ideal destination for skiing beginners. Skiing enthusiasts will also find themselves with plenty to do here thanks to the red and black runs as well as the link to Mont-Dore which doubles the available skiing area. 

Discover a family ski resort, full of resources

Located in the Auvergne, between 1,350 and 1,850 metres above sea level, the skiing area of the Super Besse resort extends over 40 km including a night skiing zone.

A skiing area with 27 runs

The skiing area consists of:

  • 5 green pistes;
  • 9 blue pistes ;
  • 9 red pistes;
  • 4 black pistes.


To facilitate access to the slopes, 21 ski lifts are available (cable car, chair lifts, ski lifts and belts).


The night skiing area is made up of 13 runs lit from 5pm to 9pm.

Ski school and handiski

For young and old alike who want to discover new thrills, ski schools are accessible to both able-bodied and disabled people.


Discovery sessions are available to discover the joys of skiing in:

  • wheelchair skiing ;
  • tandem skiing ;
  • uni or bi-skiing.


Please note! Rental shops do not have this equipment on site.

A free shuttle to reach the resort in winter

Leave your car in the car park and take the free shuttle bus to the resort. The stop at the entrance to the accommodation complex runs every twenty minutes to the shops, the snow front, the ski school and the cable car on average. There are also links (for a fee) between Super Besse and the medieval village of Besse and Sainte-Anastaise.
